(17,199 posts)The 7 Major Issues Mitt Romney Wont Take A Position On
By Josh Israel
In March, Mitt Romney demanded President Obama needs to level with the American public about his real agenda. But on numerous topics, Romney has refused to answer basic questions about his views, leaving voters to guess at where he stands on important issues. Romneys ambiguity appears to be a calculated strategy to avoid alienating the conservative base or moderate swing voters. If hes successful in avoiding articulating policy positions, he can market himself as the generic Republican alternative to President Obama.
Here are seven major issues on which Romney has refused to take a stand:
1. Romney wont say whether he would undo Obamas decision to end deportations of DREAM-eligible immigrants. Romney and his campaign passed up numerous opportunities over the weekend to say whether he agreed with the substance of the Obama administrations order to stop deporting some young undocumented immigrants and whether a President Romney would rescind the order, saying only, Well look at that well look at that setting as we as we reach that.
2. Romney wont say whether hed support the Paycheck Fairness Act. Romney repeatedly dodged questions about whether hed support the Paycheck Fairness Act, a bill to crack down on wage discrimination and close the wage gap between men and women. His campaign didnt respond to five requests by the conservative Washington Times seeking his stance on the bill.
3. Romney wont specify which tax loopholes hed close. Asked yesterday which tax deductions he would eliminate to offset his massive proposed tax-cuts for the rich, Romney refused to offer any specifics on a plan that he has admitted is so vague it cannot even be scored, saying only, Well go through that process with Congress.
4. Romney wont say which federal agencies hed eliminate. At a private fundraiser, Romney reportedly told donors he would eliminate or combine a lot of departments in Washington, but that he was probably not going to lay out just exactly which ones are going to go. Why? Because he feared telling the voters his plans before the election might hurt his political chances, just as it did in his 1994 Senate race.

So I looked it up.
The MOS Technology 6502 is an 8-bit microprocessor that was designed by Chuck Peddle and Bill Mensch for MOS Technology in 1975. When it was introduced, it was the least expensive full-featured microprocessor on the market by a considerable margin, costing less than one-sixth the price of competing designs from larger companies such as Motorola and Intel. It was nevertheless fully comparable with them and, along with the Zilog Z80, sparked a series of computer projects that would eventually result in the home computer revolution of the 1980s.

1975 ... is there a connection with this information and what Willard was doing that year? (Are you suggesting that was when he was implanted?)

Never in politics has one man been so empty. Empty suit, empty head, and yes; even an empty core. Mitt Romney is the most ill-informed politician of modern time. I don't have to give you the oh so many examples of his blatant stupidity, but let me give you just three and lets see if anyone can really explain. First, Mitt likes to talk tough. And honestly, if you didn't know him; you would think this guy must have been a real tough guy or have military experience. You would be totally fooled by both. Mitt likes to talk tough because that will make him look "Presidential". Truth be told, it makes him look like the cowardly lion in a very expensive Armani suit. Mitt never did any military service, his sons never did military service but he thinks that his five sons helping him get elected is national service. Sorry Willard, but that's called looking out for your best interest. And if daddy becomes President they will reap the benefits, very simple. Mitt likes to tell everyone how weak America is, but once again truth be told; we are stronger internationally now, probably more than ever. Seeing how Willard runs his campaign shows you the weak wrist, mush mouth, and flip-flopping way he would run foreign policy. Our enemies are salivating at the chance to test his 27 different approaches to a complex problem. Romney wants to play war, but not with his children, but the children of people that he has become so detached from. He won't offer a son or didn't offering himself when he had the chance. Romney protested in favor of the draft, but had a religious deferment not to go. So the question is simple, what does he like war? Sending other young Americans off to war? Or does he like just playing war with troops and not understanding the consequences?
