Our most precious values and norms have sustained a vicious assault that's by no means over. We must win decisive political victories and, reverse as much damage as possible, and punish the perpetrators and the enablers.

I understand that this notion offends the appeasers and trolls, but WE, THE PEOPLE are way beyond the appeasers and the trolls. The Electoral College must go. Poor Southern states must have their oversized Evangelical influence reduced to proper proportions. The whole "conservative" movement must be severely rebuked and discredited.

We cannot count on an impeachment "angel" to save us. It is going to take hard work and a bit of luck (like trump continuing to implode) to overcome this. People have to commit to VOTE and to work for democrats.

4. Key word is "sustained"...

we can't afford to win one cycle and stay home. That's what we did in the past. It took 3 terms for Roosevelt to clean things up after the Great Depression. In many ways, we're facing a bigger problem than that now. Loving these kids on the street and their promises to vote. I hope it continues for many years and many cycles.
