I though we had way more folks than the 200 reported by our extreme alt- right newspaper. Th young people were awesome!

Because of health reasons we had to leave in 2003, but my wife and I talk about Alaska -- and in particular Fairbanks, where we lived -- practically every day. We've tried to find a community with such diversity and spirit here in the lower 48, but to no avail. There's something about life at 40 below that separates the wheat from the chaff; you do not live there unless you love it. Miss you guys.

We barely touched -40 this year. Lasted all of 2 days. I don't generally get cold, so I'm blaming it on the wheelchair. Better than admitting us old folk don't do cold easily!
