Remember, Ford had to pardon Nixon for all potential Watergate crimes even after he had resigned from office.

Had he not done that, it was likely that Nixon would have faced criminal charges.

I think if it happened it was just unofficial between Nixon and Ford and they took it to their graves. Pence could do something like that for Trump.

IIRC. They found nothing after nothing after nothing, spent $70 million doing it. Lied about a blowjob. That's what they got.

5. I doubt it. Even after Nixon resigned many of those involved served prison time.

At this point, I believe this is about more than just one man. This is a sticky and far-flung web of organized crime and treason. I hope we get to the bottom of it (without it being short-circuited or put on hold by an abrupt resignation.)

Good question though. It's something to ponder.
