I don't see why it was so terrible - Mitt had ZERO power. He was a joke from day one.

But she was the State Treasurer, and there were scandals erupting from the Treasurer's Dept around that time. Didn't reflect well on her at all.

After 4 years as governor, Romney would have lost if he'd run for a 2nd term. We were nothing but a political stepping stone to him. Even many Republicans in the state can't stand the guy.
