10. Their commentary was insulting and embarrassing and unworthy of the parade of countries.

They were mocking other countries if their "strong" sports were table tennis etc or if there were only 3 Olympians representing the country. Poor form! In addition, their political swooning over Romney - and attributing the "saving" of the Salt Lake games to him was rather nauseating, but to be expected from the MSM.

I found their performance undignified for the opening ceremony. If they want to do a Mystery Science Theater 3000 commentary of other countries, they can do it in their own living rooms with a bottle of mad dog 20/20, not over the NBC airwaves.

13. The only saving the Olympics needed was face saving - as SLC was proven to have bribed

people to get the Olympics. Other than that it needed money - and the federal and state government gave a huge portion of it. Has ANY Olympics actually "failed? Would the US, with all its resources not successfully put on an Olympics? Seriously, if SOUTH KOREA can pull off an Olympics, was any vulture capitalist the only reason the SLC Olympics went on.
