My thinking is the lawmakers (congress) that vote NO are STOPPING the prosecutor from taking his (her) case to the JURY!! I DO NOT consider them to be the jurors. Do they actually look at the prosecutor's evidence? If they do then i guess i'm wrong in my thinking! Being in uncharted territory here i DO NOT feel this is a stupid question at all!

and a number of complex legal questions would arise and have to be answered by the courts should both the JD and congress be unable/unwilling to act effectively. What they're calling a constitutional crisis -- i.e., no previously established path to action in law.

Let's hope the Republican controlled congress rises to its duty if called on. Not completely wishful thinking as this progresses.

A rabid trumpist confused both husband and me yesterday by seeming to criticize Trump before recovering herself and blaming Obama for some problem with Medicare. I'm not making too much of this because she was at a weak point with her husband recovering from open heart surgery, but still, seeing us, me particularly, is usually a call to arms and their great trumpian victory over us usually a great satisfaction.

I think that we'll (Dems) take the House. The Senate - I'm less certain. But when we do take the House, there will most certainly be a House bill to impeach. Whether the Senate votes to remove is another issue. And whether Trump resigns is yet to be seen. He is a fighter and loves to fight, but he is also a coward and can't stand humiliation.

Mueller is a by-the-book guy. So I expect that future indictments will be timed about 90 days before both the primary and general elections. Mueller is a patriot and is most certainly building the best case and best scenario he can to remove Trump. We just have to be patient and focused on winning elections. Stay calm and vote Dem!
