It obviously wasn't Twitler or any of the Children of the Candy Corn Skidmark.
Doesn't sound like a lawyer either.

#1: It uses a vocabulary that is way beyond Trump's historically verified limited set of go to blathering.
#2: It is approximately grammatically correct and is written in a form of flow close to a paragraph.
#3: Either the Gibboon has discovered the spell check or has suddenly recovered his knowledge of spelling.
and, the most compelling reason...
#4: Notice the unusual (for Americans) capitalization of certain words. Which is consistently used in this tweet. Only seen in the writings of a select group of writers. The people I've ever encountered who write with that trait are Western Europeans who have learned English as a second language. The only person I know of in Trump's inner most circle who might do this is Melania, but, I doubt she is helping or would be allowed to help him with his tweet fests at this point. She's female and not Ivanka.

(33,207 posts)At least part of the time.
They must hand him off.
Probably a schedule posted on the wall of the Food Corral in the WH.
I can hear Kelly hollering, "Jarvanka! You're up!"
oberliner
(58,724 posts)It reads like him - or someone trying to approximate his tweeting style.
Hugin
(33,207 posts)They are exactly consistent. Not like his usual stream of unconsciousness babbling.
Also, the punctuation is there... And, is close to correct. Except, there is no Oxford comma in the list. The Dotard is far too impatient for such things as punctuation.
"U.S."? When was the last time you saw it written like this outside of a news article?
Well, either he's tweeting from someone else's phone set to English instead of American English or he is dictating his tweets.
Believe as you wish, I choose to believe that like the Election, he is getting a whole lot of help to make it through the day.
oberliner

(33,207 posts)and Trump "Trusts".
This is why the writing style is so inconsistent.
I do believe the content originates from Trump himself, though.
He's too lazy and his attention span is too short to even tweet.
I don't know if you recall the story of Trump grabbing some National Security specialist and ordering her to rewrite some memo awhile back. He treated her like clerical help and she was reportedly quite upset about the incident. Then Kelly doubled down and yelled at her to do as instructed.
It was only one yarn of many related to the dysfunctional command dynamics in the WH.

(58,724 posts)Stephen Miller seems like someone in the mix.
Hugin
(33,207 posts)or (this is even more terrifying) maybe Trump is selling Tweet-as-Trump opportunities. Commoditising Propaganda as part of his "Brand".
It would be like him to make a buck off of it...

(23,337 posts)She might have some extra time on her hands these days now that Rob isnt coming to work everyday. Maybe Stephen Miller? John Kelly? I agree that Dotard didnt write the tweet. The words chaos and discord in one sentence disqualify him as the author.

If not this tweet, I could see her hand in others. Maybe, she helps Trump with the tweet machine along with the steam machine.
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,856 posts)We even see it on DU from time to time. It seems to be a way some poor or inexperienced writers try to emphasize words. The capitalization of nouns is a distinctive characteristic of the German language but not of Russian or Slovenian - and while Germans capitalize all nouns, in this tweet only some nouns are capitalized. Maybe someone else did write this one but I don't think this quirk is an indication of that possibility.
Hugin
(33,207 posts)I don't see Trumperfeller spending the time to punctuate on his phone... Unless, it's to add too many extra exclamation points.
That is hard work, there.
Also, you should note the use of the correct, "Their". Which evidence proves is way beyond his meager abilities.
Believe as you wish.
The Velveteen Ocelot
(115,856 posts)which is common in Trump's own posts, isn't proof someone else wrote this one. Maybe he's getting better at writing tweets because he does so much of it? This one is better than most of them but it's still semi-literate, and while the White House is full of buffoons, I don't know how many semi-literate buffoons are working there.
Hugin
(33,207 posts)Although, we disagree on it's applicability of it's use in determining the possible authorship of this particular tweet.
While we're engaged in creative speculation, I think this tweet was written by someone using a keyboard or tablet and not directly into a smart phone.
Your thoughts?
the first clue was the punctuation. I think someone else tried to sound like the idiot, but they can't make up stupid like he does and so the slights don't work like the idiot's do. Wasn't cheato who wrote this one.
