Yesterday was Trump's "My Pet Goat" Moment

For 38 minutes Hawaiians thought they were about to be nuked and where was Trump? Golfing, of course.

Does anyone thing North Korea didn't take notice of our "asleep at the wheel" president? Imagine Fox if that had been President Obama.....

I don't EVER want to hear another FUCKING RIGHT WING REPUBLICAN talk about how great they are on national security!

1. Well, Trump is an idiot, but no way any president can be watching for nukes every minute. But....

the military are always on alert. Not sure Trump could do anything anyway.

4. How about making an announcement

That might have kept parents from putting their kids in storm sewers, for starters.

I don't think anyone is suggesting that he be on alert 24/7. But when something that will end life as we know it apparently happens, but didn't actually happen, the person with the formal intelligence to know ought to immediately respond and clarify matters.

3. When was Drumpf told it was a false alarm, if at all?

I am really questioning Drumpf's ability to protect us in case of a real attach. Why did he continue to play golf when there was an alert in Hawaii. Did the military tell him it was a false alarm, or did they not tell him anything to prevent him from a retaliatory strike.

Either way #WASF

5. This is stupid. It was no "My Pet Goat" moment. Someone in Hawaii f***ed up. There was no attack.

Please, trying to criticize Trump for not reacting hysterically to a non-event is just silly. He undoubtedly was informed immediately that there was no missile attack.

1. Stupid? Disagree all you want, but it's not "stupid."

2. Are you actually telling me what I can and can't criticize Trump for doing? Wow: Now that is stupid!

8. An entire state is panicking, and he does nothing.

Whether or not it was a real missile attack, he's the f***in guy who sits in the Big Chair of the White House on the taxpayer dime. Part of his job is to be a leader, not a CEO, and getting on the media immediatly to help calm things down is supposed to be part of the job.
On edit - this is worse than a My Pet Goat moment.

10. I just don't get people who are dismissing the impact of this as no big deal.

Or who think criticism of Trump's failure to play a leadership, when an entire state realistically believed they had minutes to live, is invalid.
