Too bad we missed the obvious racial animus those statements from republicans contained. The Republican Party is not inclusive or compassionate they are racist bigoted and anti American. One can only hope it is possible to recover from the depth we have descended.

If Obama said right, they said left. If he agreed with them, they went the other way.
The sad thing was Obama was trying to play it old school and work across the isle, work together. The teaparty/rethugs would have nothing to do with it.
He kinda sorta wasted his advantage of Dem pres,congress and senate in his first term..
Lets hope that does not happen in 2020.. Hopefully the Dem's will have their agenda ready to hit the road running in 2020 and take advantage of the upper hand...
