(6,979 posts)I hear you
We're going to have to have someone in there to actually try to FIX the colossal mess that thuglicans/fatso leave this country IN. I'm hoping that when we vote in 2018/2020, our votes count and that we can vote the bums out of the Congress and White House. Again, that's if our votes count.
Also, I believe the Rock's a thuglican or he leans right as well. NO THANKS.
I hope the Rock sticks to his ultra-successful movie career & showing up at various Wrestlemania's.

(16,245 posts)How about people who actually know shit about governing?
Or, you know, DWAYNE, you could actually run for some lower office and get your feet wet.

Can we also find a Mr Scissors and Mrs Papers. At least that would be fun watching them battle it out...

(70,762 posts)bad as things could get - otherwise known as the pre-TWITLER reality - my immediate reaction to The Rock's injecting himself into political life would be: 1) Bwah-hah, how ABSURD!1 or 2) Hades-NO!1
But as things are, yes, it's a matter of ANYBODY but TWITLER - even PENCE, who would be able to succeed with all the horrendous parts of the wingnut agenda and do so with APPLAUSE (not from me/us, of course).
