#suckitZuckerberg - *psssst*the new Apple building doesn't have seams in the carpet

and it's larger than the Pentagon

A little inside info from, let's say, a relative- Apple didn't want seams in the carpet in the common areas or "quad" units. But how do you access the infrastructure (wiring, electrical, plumbing, etc. ) under raised floor? ....hmmmmm .... don't glue it down.

Roll it up when needed and then roll it back down.

Only one team in the carpeting industry figured that out.

Not being sarcastic- this whole thing was and is a serious undertaking.

An unseemly carpet is a mistake. An unseamly carpet, though is a glory to behold. LOL!

My office is that way and one particular square of the carpet has to be replaced fairly frequently due to how my chair rolls over it. There's clearly a seam there that is weak for whatever reason.
