Impeachment isn't enough. We need a CONVICTION.

We have to GOTV next year so we have a Dem majority and impeachment, no....not just impeachment, but PROSECUTION.

Bill Clinton was impeached. That means nothing.

We need Trump REMOVED FROM OFFICE.

I mean it. Because I can't take this anymore.

If he is removed that leaves Pence in office and leaves the possibility of a totally different ticket on the ballot in 2020 that may not even include Pence.

We stand a better chance of winning in 2020 with Trump on the ticket than with him off.

Impeached, further tarnished and further shown for the garbage he is and still on the GOP ballot in 2020 is our best possible scenario.

However, need to figure out how to relieve him of his ill-gotten gains. The convictions that matter to him are financial. Those could come either by feds or states.

Also, need to go after his best friends, the oligarchs of Russia.

He might just relish a conviction by "loser libs" that he can crow about in other remunerative venues ala books, tv etc., shilling to his crazy believers.

And even as unpopular as the Republicans are getting, we're not going to see that kind of swing in the senate in 2018. Republican senators will not vote for conviction of one of their own, it appears, no matter how treacherous he is.

I say "whichever" because it might encompass a chunk of the line of succession. Pence isn't seeming too innocent these days.

In which case obstruction applies recursively, and with this bunch there'd be good odds on pretty much every potential replacement thug being implicated

We take both House and Senate back, and have control, no matter who is in office they could be very limited, especially to install more Supreme Court justices, and create phony investigations while covering up their crimes, or obstructing. Its doubtful the KGOP will do either. Especially if many of them are involved with him with collusion, and obstruction.

Congress may have neutered itself long ago, but that doesn't exactly indemnify the First Family.

Seems to me bona fide high crimes and misdemeanors should not result in ambivalence. Unlike Clinton, Nixon would have likely been uniformly convicted. If Trump is responsible for half of the things the twitter “team patriot” says he is, we will all be universally appalled.
