BBC World News is pretty good. At least you hear what's going on in the world. In the US all

Yes it is, but unfortunately has a lot of fluff, including sports, to contend with.

...rehash the same "news" over and over. It's important to know about, but their brain output gets old.........just a redo of same bits of leaked news over and over....

I like to watch NHK? -- the Japanese network for information about Asia.
And for European news, I like the German network (DK?).
Sorry, I can't quite remember their actual names.
