It is not too late for Al Franken to change his mind and show up for work again. Please contact him

and ask him to reconsider. I just sent a message and included the fact that he is hurting the entire Democratic party because of the precedent he is setting.

He is telling other Democrats to not fight for their/our rights. It is not fair to the Democratic party.

He is telling other Democrats around the country that they should just fold if it happens to them. Does he want all of us to just accept accusations without any trial?

I said some other stuff too.

Perhaps we should ask ourselves, if some Democratic Senators forced out one our most valuable and productive Senators over allegations of so-called sexual harrassment, do we want those kind of Senators representing US and the Democratic Party? I for one do not want to be represented by politicians who believe they are entitled to be judge, jury and executioner. There is already way to much of THAT coming from the other side. Our so-called Democracy is in ruins. We need to do something about it!

Did ANYONE mention it in the national news?

I get regular fundraising appeals from many of the Democratic Senators that urged him to resign. I will still support them if renominated, as the best Republican is still worse than the worst Democrat (in the present Senate, anyway). But I will not send one cent to any of them any more until they have secured the nomination of their state's Democratic primary. I will NOT support application of the "guilty until proven innocent" way of thinking shown by the Gang of Thirty. I'm still waiting to hear WTF they WERE thinking.

One thing I think we need to do is keep pushing the media to investigate the relationship between Ms. Tweeden, Jr. and Stone. It's too late to save Sen. Franken from being screwed by the repub dirty tricks machine, but if this gets exposed we may be able to prevent this from happening in the future.
