2017 is just about over. The Republicans Are Doing
exactly what they want to do, and we can't stop them this year. So, I'm moving on. 2018 is less than two weeks away. A new year, and a mid-term election year, at that. Thinking Democrats should be aware, by now, that the outcomes of the 2016 election were not good for this country. In fact, they were disastrous. This last half of December, 2017, makes that very clear.
2018. We get another chance at Congress. It's still almost a year until the mid-term elections. That should be enough time for us to field and elect a winning panel of Democrats for House seats and the Senate seats that are up for grabs. It should be. It should also also be plenty of time to find fresh Democratic candidates for state legislative seats and to do what Virginia voters did in November. It should be.
Will it be? That's up to us and to other knowledgeable Democrats throughout the nation. If we start now to work on the elections in November, we should be able to win handily, even in places, states and districts where electing Democrats is a tough pull. If we start now. We should be.
