When all those folks received their annual Social Security Status reports these last couple weeks,well guess what,whoopie 2% increase ended up being a couple of dollar increase in their January stipend. Well guess what,their Medicare Insurance ate up the rest of their 2% increase.

I met some really nice people during my canvassing - and the ones who wanted to talk were senior citizens. We did offer rides to those in a senior complex because they asked, though many had already voted absentee. But that didn't mean they didn't want to talk about it. Of course, those on my lists were likely Democratic voters.

I'm actually very concerned for them and loosing their Medicaid Medicare and cuts to SS. It's crazy because they voted for this and in the end they are those most at risk because of these policies.

Initially I was angry and aggravated now I'm just sad for everyone that will loose their safety net.
