Sexual harrassment is pretty damn serious, and I'm inclined to say he should have lost his job if he's guilty. NBC should have suspended him, rather than pay off his accuser. Then, if it turns out he's innocent, reinstate him.

My little viewpoint from my insignificant laptop is that Al is a good Dem, but *my* latest conjecture is that it's too late and screwed up for him to flip back on resigning and news is that he's working on the transition to the appointee, AND (my insignificant input) is that he was thrown under the bus and the Dems who are recanting now are spineless. If we can't fix on a principled position, can't even step back and take a breath at the start of a principled position, we're fools.

FIGHT the F BACK!!!!!

And wtf are they doing not attacking the fact that since the reagan tax cut boondoggle, the wealthy have gotten a brazillion times more wealthy, and joe shmuck’s wages have actually DECREASED in real terms

Why is that not the ONLY point they repeat, just as the pugs do with their slimy, snake oil messaging

himself when OBAMA came along. If anything, the rap on him here has been that he's a weather vane. I'm curious about the seeming contradiction between your post here and the one up thread.

For a few years I wondered how much his "rehab" it would take for me to "forgive" him for all the sabotage he did on Dems, and eventually decided that "forgiveness" was not in play, that, rather, the final position on him is not to trust him even when he's momentarily being good on our side.

That a gigantic corporation supposedly reviewed Tweety and his accuser and got rid of her with "severance pay" says to me that something happened, a concrete something, a semblance at least of due process. "Smear campaign" is how O'LOOFAH called anything and everything said against him, all of which was TRUE, not a "smear". I myself don't "fall for it" about Tweety because he has plenty of crap on him that I have seen him do in plain sight on the air (his crapping on Dems) that I don't consider criticizing him to be "falling for it" on any topic.
