22. Mac is derived from Mach, BSD, and NextStep
It doesn't even come with GNU by default.

24. it is based on the linux kernel, as is the android
It is not the same thing as linux by any sretch of the imagination.

25. Negative. Mac's kernel derives from Mach
And the userland derives from BSD. They deliberately avoided GPL projects like Linux and GNU, for obvious reasons.

31. If it allows the execution of this "use case", it doesn't matter *WHAT* the definition is.
And so far, all discussion of iPhone OS 4.0 seems to include the explicit
possibility that music apps will be allowed to continue outputting music
to the user when they are "backgrounded".

8. as much as adding "copy and paste" in a later version of
your OS.

perfection rarely comes to consumers in the first version of a consumer electronic. Android is no different.

6. as i write this on my new evo 4G i have to ask myself...
Why are the apple fanboys grasping at such straws?

I havent had too much time to test this phone out yet but so far its been absolutely awesome. I can name countless features this phone has the iPhone doesnt. I guess if it means taking 30 seconds to install an app if i want to take screenshots i'll somehow have to manage to survive.

Did you know im listening to sirius/xm as i write this message? Can your iphone do that? Yeah, i didnt think so. But hey, atleast you can take screenshots without having to waste 30 seconds of app installation. Congratutulations.

And dont get too cocky about iphone os 4. Multitasking support will be limited. How limited? We'll find out monday.

Im looking forward to mondays announcement, hope apple has some nice tricks up their sleaves.
