I kinda wonder what some of our fellow posters' reaction to a similar situation would be.

Tonghua has a population of 300,000.

10% of the town would have been unemployed by the single stroke of a pen.

Yeah, you dumb fucks, explain to me how much better than these workers you would be in that situation, how you would hold hands and sing and then go apply at McDonalds to let the beauty of Capitalism figure out which of your 30,000 buddies got the night janitor position that's open.
