6. I think it accomplished quite a bit.

In no way did it accomplish the supposed goal of the protesters, which they claim is to encourage peace, equity, and the ending of violence in Gaza and Israel.

However, their actions did accomplish several other things: even more people are frightened and disgusted by behavior that they view as dangerous and radical. This emboldens Republicans to enact more draconian attacks on legitimate free speech. It may frighten or anger people into supporting Trump.

I think those are the actual, underlying goals of the people who are manipulating these protesters.
