(7,144 posts)and I don't really remember the actual debate much. but I do remember seeing a parody of it in a local newspaper after the fact, It looked something like this:
Moderator: Vice President Nixon, what is two plus two?
Nixon: (about ten or twelve lines of newprint which had little to do with the question)
Moderator: Senator Kennedy, what is two plus two?
Kennedy: Foah.
And I can state that that parody did a better job of capturing the essence of the "debate" than anything else published at the time.

His ultimate goal is to stay out of federal prison and he will say anything to stay out of federal prison.
