Bidens release tax return that shows they made almost $620,000 in 2023

Source: CNN

President Joe Biden and first lady Dr. Jill Biden earned $619,976 in 2023, according to their joint tax return released by the White House on Monday – the deadline date for Americans to file their taxes.

The White House also released the return for Vice President Kamala Harris and second gentleman Doug Emhoff, showing that pair made $450,299 last year.

“President Biden believes that all occupants of the Oval Office should be open and honest with the American people,” the White House said in a statement on Monday, “and that the longstanding tradition of annually releasing presidential tax returns should continue unbroken.”

That statement could be seen as a dig at former President Donald Trump, who declined to voluntarily release his tax returns while he was president. Six years of Trump’s tax returns, including from his time as president, were released to the public by the House Ways and Means Committee at the end of 2022.

Probably $130K a year.

Plus, he’s forced to spend retirement income at his age.

from Wiki: State dinners in the United States
A state dinner in the United States is a formal dinner held in honor of a foreign head of state, such as a king, queen, president, or any head of government. It is hosted by the President of the United States and is usually held in the State Dining Room at the White House in Washington, D.C.
Other formal dinners for important people of other nations, such as a prince or princess, are called official dinners, the difference being that the federal government does not pay for them

They don't want anyone bringing up Trump and his children enriching themselves during his administration. I don't think they can resurrect Hunter's laptop, but who knows, they have a way of running every scheme into the ground. Look at the mileage they got out of Benghazi and Hillary's emails.

They are not only profoundly devious, they really aren't very good at it. They run the same old scams over and over again.

the first-year law students at the big law firms come in around 200K starting (biggest firms in the major cities). Not to mention all the other various jobs over 500K - obviously doctors (notably specialists), investment bankers, business executives, even public-school superintendents in the bigger cities are often at 250K or higher.

It's cool of the Bidens to be totally transparent and release it all.

The best part is on Page 2:
Your occupation: President

Okay...so his income is $400,000, hers is $85,985, and the rest of it is interest payments. One of the reported interest payments is $4, so he's not trying to hide anything. They had to enclose a check for $334, and there's an estimated tax penalty of $285.

He had $100,580 deducted from his pay. Since First Lady Biden is a 1099 employee and they had a lot of interest income, they made estimated payments of $46,000.

The whole return is only 29 pages long.

He and Kamala just look so much like a wealthy West Coast couple. I just assumed they were swimmin' in it. I'd've thought for sure they'd make more than the Bidens. Plus I'm pretty sure that the average male Second Lady makes about 27% more than a woman doing the same job.
