Would any potential juror see this as anything but arrogant or pathetic? What is he doing, feigning boredom and then a ground assault on the court?

No coverage of his nonsensical in coherent ramblings at his rallies. Chuckles from the media "Oh that trump" . Constant coverage non stop daily he doesn't need to spend campaign money for ads instead use RNC money on his legal woes.

They’ll turn on him soon enough. There’s plenty of shinier clickity-click things out there than sitting by the Nodfather as the court drones slowly on about the nuances of forensic accounting.

There’s also a pageant of witnesses in the wings hostile to the Somnolent One to come. Each being far more EEEN-teresting than him in most respects.

The modern media is a victim of the same micro attention span disease they sell.

Trump is so much bordering on senility, and it is rarely reported.

8. Corporate hate Biden. Not all, but too many, and definitely mainstream corporate media.

The more good Biden does for the nation, the more silent corporate media are.

Posted a spoof thread about it yesterday on what would happen if Biden had fallen asleep at his own trial in public. The 25th amendment would be being discussed. They'd be breaking into regularly scheduled programming to inform viewers of, "BREAKING NEWS!!! Crisis in America! Joe Biden unfit to serve!!!" Congress would literally be holding an emergency session right now to decide what to do about this crisis.

The media would be calling for Biden to step down and let someone fit lead the country, at a minimum they'd demand he drop out of the 2024 presidential race. It would be weaks of damage control.

Donald Trump is an out of shape 78 year old with a history of mental problems and substance abuse. He fell asleep twice during the first day of his criminal trial. Where are the calls for him to step aside?

In what world is a reported story that we can't see more impactful than an actual video of it?

C'mon now.
